Blessings and peace be with the seal of the Messengers and Prophets, we begin by remembering this Hadith:

At Tirmidi related that Zaid ibn Khalid al Yuhani, may Allah SWT be pleased with him, said that the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him said:
 «Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, will have the same reward as him, without diminishing the fasting person’s reward. ”

Since the state of alert by the Covid-19 began, Dar Al Anwar, a non lucrative association in Granada, Spain, has offered hundreds of basic food packages for families in need (regardless of their religion, although most are Muslims) which they came weekly to collect directly from our headquarters in Granada. During the month of Ramadan, we have chosen to serve families individually (to preserve their dignity and privacy); we make these distributions to the families that we consider to be the highest priority and who had previously registered with us. Those who cannot make their way to our headquarters due to the lockdown enforcement or health reason, we deliver their food packages to their homes.

– Complete menu to break the fast:

For € 5 you can offer Iftar to one person which consist of Harira, dates, milk, fruit and vegetables.

– A package of basic food for one week:

From € 15 to € 50 we offer a food package to a family for one week, depending on its members and needs.

The basic package includes a 2Kg box of dates, milk, oil, flour, sugar, tuna, pasta, fried tomato, eggs, chickpeas, beans, a tray of seasonal fruits and vegetables (onions, potatoes peppers and zucchini) and meat (usually halal chicken).

 

   For this reason, we are appealing once again to you for your contributions and donations to continue with this work. We are all going through difficult times during this quarantine and even more so that it is now coinciding with the month of Ramadan.

Whatever you can afford, whether it is €1, €10, €100 or €1000, any amount counts in shaa Allah, and it is Allah SWT who gives the rewards for our actions.
